Job Title: Joinery Draftsman

:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Joinery Draftsman

with proven experience in preparing detailed shop drawings for woodworks and joinery items. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of joinery construction methods, materials, and production processes, and must be capable of transforming architectural and interior design concepts into precise fabrication drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed

shop drawings

for joinery works including but not limited to doors, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, wall cladding, counters, and custom furniture.

Interpret architectural and interior design drawings and convert them into production-ready details.

Coordinate with the production and project teams to ensure drawings are aligned with fabrication and site requirements.

Create cutting lists, material take-offs, and CNC/production files when required.

Revise drawings based on feedback from the design, production, or site teams.

Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and project specifications.

Maintain proper documentation and filing of all drawings and revisions.

Requirements:

Proven experience (3+ years) as a

Joinery Draftsman

or similar role in a joinery/fit-out company.

Proficient in

AutoCAD

and other drafting software.

Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, hardware, and finishes.

Ability to read and interpret architectural/interior drawings and specifications.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.

Experience with 3D software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) is a plus.
