Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Joinery Draftsman with 3-5 years of experience in creating detailed shop drawings for joinery, cabinetry, and interior woodwork. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or SolidWorks) and have a strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and construction standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation plans for joinery, millwork, and cabinetry.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to develop precise joinery and woodwork designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, material specifications, and client requirements.
• Modify and revise drawings based on feedback and site measurements.
• Generate cutting lists, material estimates, and BOM (Bill of Materials) for production.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams and contractors to resolve design and installation issues.
• Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery details.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with CNC machining and fabrication processes (preferred).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (preferred).

• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, Revit).
• Knowledge of custom furniture and high-end residential joinery.
• Understanding of fit-out and interior construction processes.
