Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman to prepare accurate shop drawings, cutting lists, and production details for custom joinery and furniture works. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes and materials, with the ability to interpret design intent and translate it into precise technical drawings for production and site execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings for custom joinery items including wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, doors, wall cladding, counters, paneling, and furniture pieces. Interpret architectural and interior design drawings and convert them into detailed joinery fabrication drawings. Coordinate with the design, production, and site teams to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturable. Modify drawings based on feedback from the production team or client comments. Ensure drawings comply with company standards, client requirements, and relevant codes and regulations. Maintain drawing records and update revisions in an organized manner. Conduct site visits or take measurements when required for accurate drawing preparation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical field. Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Joinery Draftsman in a Interior Design company in UAE. Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3D rendering software is a plus. Strong knowledge of joinery production methods, carpentry details, materials (MDF, veneer, laminate, hardware), and construction techniques. Ability to read and understand architectural and interior drawings. Detail-oriented with excellent technical drawing and documentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:

Office-based role with occasional site or factory visits. Standard working hours; may require extended hours during project deadlines

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
