Job Description

Responsible for creating precise technical drawings and detailed shop drawings for custom joinery and furniture manufacturing. Ensures designs meet project specifications, production feasibility, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

:

Prepare detailed joinery and furniture drawings using AutoCAD, PolyBoard, or CAD+T. Develop accurate shop drawings with dimensions, materials, and assembly details. Create cutting lists and material specifications for production. Coordinate with designers, project managers, and factory teams to ensure design feasibility. Modify and update drawings based on client or production feedback. Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with CNC programmers to optimize cutting and assembly processes. Conduct site visits for measurements and verification when required. Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions. Stay updated on new materials, hardware, and joinery construction techniques.

Qualifications

:

Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in joinery drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PolyBoard, CAD+T, or similar design software. Strong understanding of woodworking, joinery techniques, and material properties. Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
