Key Responsibilities:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Joinery Draftsman. The Joinery Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for joinery projects, collaborating with architects and designers, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Qualifications:
A minimum of
3-4 years' experience
in an
Joinery
&
Interior Fit Out
company.
Must be excellent technical skills and be proficient in computer-aided design (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other design software).
Preparing Shop Drawings and As-built drawings for consultant Approval/Contracting.
Preparation of concept drawings & site visits
Responsible for making detailed shop drawings based on concept drawings for production.
Coordinate with Production Managers, Project Managers and Designers to gather necessary technical design and changes.
Prepare the joinery-cutting list for all loose wooden/metal furniture and case goods.
Make detailed shop drawings based on concept drawings for productions.
Prepare, read and interpret drawings and sketches.
Take site measurements and accurately calculate the sizes and amount of materials needed.
