Convert design concepts and sketches into precise technical drawings for factory production.
Create detailed
cutting lists, assembly details, sections, and finishing schedules
.
Coordinate with designers, project managers, site engineers, and workshop supervisors.
Ensure drawings comply with Qatar project specifications, material standards, and consultant requirements.
Modify drawings based on consultant comments and site conditions.
Prepare
CNC-ready drawings
(if applicable).
Conduct site surveys and measurements when required.
Maintain drawing logs and proper document control.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/ITI in
Draftsmanship
,
Interior Design
, or related field.
Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD
(2D), SketchUp or similar drafting software.
Good understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, carpentry principles, and fit-out details.
Knowledge of timber, veneer, MDF, HPL, laminate, hardware, and finishing types.
Ability to read and interpret interior design drawings and material specifications.
Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with joinery or fit-out companies in Qatar or the GCC.
Familiarity with
Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS)
and consultant requirements.
Experience preparing files for CNC machines (optional but an advantage).
