Job Description

With experienced in Interior Fitout and Joinery need to apply Expertise in multi-tasking by handling multiple projects and leads all at the same time under minimal supervision Prepare BOQ, estimates, quotations, work schedule, method statements, risk assessments and other relevant project-related documentation for management and client review Act as a point of contact for communications with leads while preparing proposals to potential clients Coordinate ongoing projects at site and within the joinery premises in order to ensure cost control and timely handover
About the role:

Review the tender documents/drawings, scope of work, terms and conditions of contract and technical and material specifications of items Analyse the tender drawings, material specs, 3D visuals and extracting into BOQ if BOQ not available Analysis of rates for labour and material (fixed and variable) and thus assist build up costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect cost for the BOQ items Floating inquiries to suppliers and subcontractor and getting quote with best prices Prepare and maintain the vendor's data base Build and maintain close relationship with vendors for quick turnaround times involving quotes and material delivery Preparation of comparison sheet for quotations received from subcontractors to review the price Cost estimation for all fit-out & joinery items Finalize quote for final review of General Manager Meeting with Client/Client's Engineer in pre or post tender stage to discuss the proposal. Clarification of Post Tender queries raised by consultant/client.
Requirements:

Must have specialized experience as Estimator in interior fit-out & joinery works Holding a Diploma or Bachelors degree or any related field is preferred Wide experience in metal joinery or carpentry, furniture and fixture builds, exhibition stands, interior decoration and commercial / residential fit out projects is preferred Knowledge in commercial interior environment, fit-out detailing, specifications, suppliers & materials is preferred Must be fluent in english
