Full job description We are seeking a talented and experienced Draftsman with a specialized focus on interior fitout projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for interior spaces, demonstrating proficiency in drafting software. Must have a minimum 3 years working for a Interior Fitout/ Joinery and must have proven experience in successful completion of high end residential and commercial projects. Project references and details will be asked during the interview. Must be able to create detailed shop drawings for Interior Fitout & joinery projects. Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for interior fitout projects, including floor plans, elevations, and construction details. Utilize industry-standard drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) to create precise and comprehensive drawings. Should be able to communicate fluently in English
- Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the engineering team
- Prepare the joinery cutting list for all loose wood furniture and case goods
- Prepare, read, and interpret drawings and sketches
- Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team
- Make detailed shop drawings based on concept drawings for productions
- Responsible for making detailed shop drawings based on concept drawings for production
- Must be practical and should be able to foresee discrepancies between site conditions, materials and drawings.
- Must be able to act fast when there are required changes due to site or materials.
- Must be able to Execute the design to practical sizes and materials.
- Knowledge of creating BOQ\'s and Cutting list.
- Prepare as Built drawing as per site conditions.
