We specialize in the production and distribution of high-quality lubricants for various industries, including automotive, industrial, and marine sectors. : We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Chemist/Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong mathematical skills, a solid understanding of chemistry, and prior experience in a laboratory setting. As a Chemist/Lab Technician, you will be responsible for testing raw materials and finished goods, creating oil analysis reports, tracking raw material stock, and calculating the cost of formulations. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role. Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing of raw materials and finished goods using a variety of laboratory equipment.
• Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Create detailed oil analysis reports based on laboratory findings.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of raw materials and track stock levels.
• Assist in the creation and updating of product formulations.
• Utilize mathematical skills to calculate the cost of formulations and assist in cost optimization.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality control, to ensure smooth operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to apply mathematical principles to laboratory calculations.
• Solid understanding of chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.
• Experience using laboratory equipment and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new equipment.
• Good memory and attention to detail to accurately record and interpret test results.
• Basic knowledge of Excel for data entry and analysis.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work paid overtime when required.

Work Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Work Breaks:

• 10:00 AM - 10:15 AM (15-minute breakfast break)
• 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
