Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting - Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with UAE accounting standards. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Ensure timely preparation of management reports and project/unit-wise analysis.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable - Process vendor invoices, payments, and maintain vendor reconciliations. - Generate customer invoices, track receivables, and follow up on collections. - Maintain AR/AP aging schedules and report outstanding balances.

3. VAT & Compliance - Validate VAT entries as per FTA guidelines. - Prepare and file VAT returns on time. - Ensure compliance with UAE laws and maintain audit-ready records.

4. Payroll & Employee Records - Manage payroll including allowances, deductions, and statutory compliance. - Maintain labor salary records and support WPS processing where applicable.

5. Cash Flow & Bank Reconciliation - Monitor daily income sheets and cash flow across projects and units. - Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. - Support treasury management and payment scheduling.

6. Documentation & Internal Controls - Maintain contracts, invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation. - Ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness of all records. - Suggest and implement process improvements for efficiency.

7. Management Support - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide management with financial insights for decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and authorities.

Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience in UAE.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, UAE accounting practices, and FTA compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Zoho/QuickBooks/Tally preferred). - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Multi-sector exposure preferred (contracting, trading, consultancy, holiday homes, oil trading, digital marketing).
