A new technical school in Al Ain is seeking a creative and versatile Jewelry Design Trainer. The organization is focused on developing well-qualified and professionally skilled 16-18-year-old youths by providing the educational training and skills necessary for a successful career in today's world. Duties include providing state of the art instruction, maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment and securing positive business and industry relationships. Job Specifications:

• Responsible for planning, managing, and improving the learning of students, working with other team members.

• In collaboration with the team to implement and continually improve curriculum, teaching learning and assessment strategies.

• To manage the learning of the students and collaborate with other teachers.

• To manage all facilities and activities related to achieving student learning.

• To play a leadership role in role-modeling behavior, attitudes and learning behaviors for students.

• To develop and maintain teaching materials and assist with program quality assurance processes.

Education Required: Master craftsman in the relevant area OR skilled worker in the relevant area Excellent oral and written English essential IELTS 7 Academic for non-first language English speakers only - mandatory Arabic Language is an advantage Experience Required: 5 years of experience (industry and university) in a relevant area of jewellery design and production Minimum 2 years of relevant vocational teaching/training, developing and fostering skills with experience of qualifications delivery Ability to teach the following: o principles of design thinking, product design, fashion design, trend analysis, design drawings, pictures rendering o CAD for product design (free form) o state of the art design product development experience (digital prototyping) o any manual skills required for jewellery manufacturing (silver, gold, stones setting, fashion jewellery plastic, glass, ceramic, others) o any industrial skills for jewellery production (casting, setting, polishing for a higher number of products) o skills in digital prototyping (CAD, rhinoceros, 3D print, further processing, finishing, engraving) Cultural awareness of local and international fashion areas IT skills Practical skills in the relevant area including up-to-date legal requirements and Health & Safety regulations Preferred: Work experience in GCC region or similar location Benefits: Competitive tax-free monthly salary Annual airfare Visa and medical insurance End of service bonus Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to AED18,000.00 per month Application Question(s):
