Job Title: Telehandler Operator

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Telehandler Operator to safely operate telehandlers on construction sites, logistics yards for Stevin Rock across a group of mines. The ideal candidate will have strong handling experience, be safety-focused, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate telehandler equipment to lift, move, and place materials such as pallets, construction supplies, and heavy loads. Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas. Inspect the telehandler before and after use; report any defects or maintenance needs. Position materials accurately and safely in line with site plans and supervisor instructions. Ensure loads are secured, balanced, and within safe working load limits. Maintain clear communication with site teams and follow signalling protocols. Comply with all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and UAE health & safety regulations. Keep work area tidy and free from hazards. Assist with general labour duties when required.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

Valid UAE telehandler licence / relevant permit (or recognised certificate). Proven experience operating telehandlers on construction or industrial sites. Good understanding of safe operating procedures and load charts. Basic English for effective communication with team members.

Desirable

Additional equipment certifications (e.g., forklift or heavy machinery). Prior experience working in the UAE or GCC.

Skills & Competencies

Strong focus on safety and risk awareness. Excellent hand-eye coordination. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in hot climates.

Working Conditions

Construction site or industrial yard environment. Exposure to heat and dust in line with UAE weather conditions. Standard UAE shift patterns (may include early starts or overtime).

Pay: AED2,300.00 - AED2,440.00 per month
