Job Description

The JCB Operator is tasked with operating JCB machinery to assist with piling operations. This includes maneuvering the equipment to drive piles into the ground for building foundations and other structures. The operator must ensure accurate placement of piles, follow all safety procedures, and maintain the equipment to ensure optimal performance on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate JCB Equipment:

Safely operate JCB machines, particularly those designed for piling operations (e.g., JCB piling rigs or excavators equipped with piling attachments), to perform tasks such as lifting and driving piles into the ground.

Piling Operations:

Assist in installing piles for deep foundations, including ensuring correct pile alignment, positioning, and depth as per project specifications.

Loading/Unloading:

Load and unload construction materials and piling components using the JCB machine, ensuring materials are transported efficiently and safely around the site.

Equipment Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on the JCB equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the site maintenance team for immediate repair.

Site Preparation:

Assist in preparing the construction site for piling operations, including clearing debris, leveling the ground, and ensuring the area is safe for heavy equipment operation.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and ensure that the machinery is operated in compliance with site-specific and national safety regulations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction crew members to ensure piling operations are completed on time and within project specifications.

Documentation:

Maintain records of equipment use, hours operated, and any incidents or accidents involving the machine.

Requirements:

Certification:

Valid operator's license and certification to operate JCB machinery, particularly for piling or heavy-duty construction tasks.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating JCB or similar heavy machinery, with specific experience in piling operations preferred.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of piling techniques, equipment functionality, and safety regulations related to construction and piling tasks.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting, operating machinery, and performing outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.

Attention to Detail:

Keen attention to detail and precision when operating machinery, ensuring the accuracy of piling placement and safety on-site.

Teamwork:

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a construction team.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
