Job Title: Java & Microservices Developer

Proztec is currently hiring an experienced Java & Microservices Developer for a 6-month contract in Doha, Qatar. This role involves developing scalable microservice-based architectures using Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have strong REST API development experience, CI/CD knowledge, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices

Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs

Implement containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes

Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers

Troubleshoot and optimize for performance and scalability

Automate deployment workflows using CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful services

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI

Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills

Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities
