Schedule: Full-time (FT) Your field of responsibility A number of new and exciting projects have been initiated within APAC PB IT, enabling you to directly chip in to the success of the business. Naturally, project details are commercially - sensitive but all our projects exhibit the following common features: Significant engagement with product owners and user-interaction Technical autonomy and innovation Highly motivated and engaged development teams High quality and commercial benefits In the agile-development environment, you will work together with business users and members of the development team to provide quality systems that improve efficiency, decrease operational risk, enable the business to expand and make users smile. These are high profile applications that offer you the opportunity to craft the future architecture & technical direction and take ownership for certain functional components. We provide architecture and application development (AAD) services for "Core banking" platform, that is used by Private Banking business in APAC, within 'APAC Tech & Change' division We are the Core Banking IT platform owner in APAC Private banking and application owner of systems provided by Core Banking platform TEMENOS T24 is the core banking system that is extensively used by APAC Private Banking business users to perform critical business functions (covering Front Office, Traders, Operations, Treasury, Financial accounting etc.) TEMENOS PAYMENT HUB is the core banking system that is extensively used by APAC Private Banking business users to perform client related payment functions. We define the domain architecture strategy and solution engineering standards for Core Banking Platform within 'APAC Tech & Change' We provide 2nd and 3rd level Application Support for Core banking platform in APAC, supporting Private Banking (Wealth Management) division Your future colleagues The APAC Technology and Change organization is responsible for the engineering and support of technology solutions, implementation of change programs, and the associated change, design and data governance for the APAC Division. The department encompasses the APAC Wealth Management and Products IT organizations, together with coordinated cross-divisional capabilities for Chief of Staff, Chief Operating Officer, Risk and Control, Program Management and Governance. To excel in this role, you should possess Minimum 5 years' experience in development or support role for Java/J2EE based application preferably in Banking domain. Minimum 3 years' experience in DevOps tools, Jira, Jenkins etc. Ability to read and write complex SQLs and UNIX scripts. Experience in managing Jboss, MQ applications and UNIX/LINUX commands Good knowledge of ITIL and SRE principles. Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues involving diverse technologies. Inquisitive to learn new technologies and domain. Ability to code in JAVA for L3 development within T24 is helpful Fair knowledge on the private banking business process and functions will be an advantage Willingness to collaborate with the onsite and offshore teams during solution delivery Good analytical and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills. Vendor co-ordination (liaise/handle vendor resources and work closely with them in delivering the projects) Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
