Your role
Are you a master of Java, interested in state-of-the-art frameworks, tools and techniques? Do you know how to solve challenging problems effectively? Do you have the capability to create innovative ideas and implement them? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
- manage significant and strategic projects
- understand Developers and QA community requirements and can analyze gaps
- understand and work with the team to develop different tools to support our IT Community with technical applications to gain efficiency
- integrate frameworks with Continuous Integration, Deployment & Testing pipelines
- share knowledge across the whole development and QA community
- contribute to Think Tanks for innovation
- take pride in the quality of delivered software products and services (this is what drives you)
Your team
You'll be working in the Environment Engineering Organization for WMPC Tech in Qatar with cross-dependencies to Switzerland, Poland and India. We provide Program and Project management services to support strategic programs and projects. You will support one of the strategic change Initiative 2022. Diversity helps us grow, together. Your expertise
- 6+ years of experience of Enterprise Java (JAVA/J2EE), service oriented architecture development, messaging related technologies such as JMS
- strong database skills, experience with Oracle and/or DB2 database development
- hands-on experience in React JS, Ext JS, JSON, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSP
- strong understanding of the principles of Object Orientation Programming and Design
- experience in SCRUM and Agile development methodology, test driven development
- any cloud experience preferable Azure would be an added advantage
- must be able to work independently and efficiently within a diverse and fast paced, team-oriented environment
