Our company is looking for a talented and experienced Japanese Food Chef to join our kitchen team. The chef will be responsible for preparing a wide range of authentic Japanese dishes, ensuring exceptional quality, and delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of traditional and modern Japanese dishes such as teppanyaki, ramen, tempura, donburi, and grilled items.
Ensure the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients in all dishes.
Create and introduce new Japanese-inspired dishes to enhance the menu.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Collaborate with the kitchen team for smooth and timely food preparation and service.
Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards.
Engage with customers when needed to ensure satisfaction and receive feedback.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Japanese Food Chef or in a similar role.
Expertise in preparing a broad range of Japanese dishes.
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong skills in food presentation and attention to detail.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Experience in hot kitchen and grilling techniques is an advantage.
