Charter School Teaching Programme - January 2023

AL AIN, RAS AL KHAIMAH, UMM AL QUWAIN - applicants need to be flexible when considering location preferences

Primary / Elementary Teachers - Bachelor in Education or any relevant degree with PGCE/diploma in Education

20+ Certified/Qualified experienced teachers needed to work in Charter Schools in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and across the Northern Emirates. You will be teaching local Emirati children, using a modified US curriculum blended with the UAE curriculum, taught in English. These are former state schools that are now being managed and staffed by an experienced western education group and are free to attend for Emirati children.

Salary and Package

- Tax Free Salary - 10,000 to 15,000 aed/month per defined salary scale based on years of experience
- Beginning and end of contract flights for employee, spouse and 2 children
- Mid contract flights for all or monthly allowance
- Free Housing (1br or 2br apartment, not far from school)
- Medical insurance for employee, spouse and 2 children
- Education Allowance for up to 2 qualifying children (AED15000 per child - must be age 4 at least)
- End of service gratuity

Requirements

- 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience at the start of contract
- Bachelor's degree related to your teaching subject
- Teacher training and full teacher certification/qualification from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa
- Complete fluency in English
- Excellent classroom management skills and cultural sensitivity

Note that, unlike international schools, UAE Charter schools are not suitable for dependent children of teaching staff. An allowance to send your children to another school is provided.
