We are hiring an IT/OT System Administrator based in Ras Al Khaimah.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Traditional IT systems knowledge, mostly Process Network oriented (process network and security infrastructure, plant operational printers, anti-virus and patching, wired and wireless networks etc.)
• Cybersecurity
• Bridge among the different teams such as engineering and global IT/OT teams
• Propose new solutions based on the local experience, for future enhancements
• Testing, monitoring and troubleshooting abilities
• Local vendors relationship
• Physical assistance for preventive and reactive maintenance
• Be able to proceed to change any of those during Failures
• Preventive/Predictive maintenance windows
• Planned technology changes

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Background in IT or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in the administration of a network of servers, desktop systems and communication devices
• Working knowledge of current network communications devices and protocols as well as server and desktop technologies, esp. Windows Server
• Working knowledge of Cisco and VMware is very nice to have
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously
• Previous work experience following change management procedures and maintaining a highly available infrastructure
• Fluent in English

What Will Put You Ahead

• Desirable basic knowledge of ICS elements
• HMI, Scadas, data collectors, Historian
• Industrial communication protocols, OPC, profinet, modbus....
• PLCs
