Role Overview

Our client, a global engineering technology company in Qatar, is seeking a skilled

IT & Telecom Maintenance Technician

responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of IT and Telecom systems. The role involves system troubleshooting, hardware installation, and ongoing support to ensure reliable operation of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including repairs, of IT systems. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of Telecom systems such as: CCTV Access Control Systems PABX Public Address Systems Install hardware and troubleshoot IT and Telecom system issues. Maintain Fiber Optic Network ODFs. Convert maintenance data into electronically usable formats. Support maintenance staff in IT system maintenance activities. Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

Strong knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and software. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in IT tools and equipment. Experience using CMMS software. Minimum

3+ years of experience

in IT support and administration. Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification. Valid

Qatar Light Vehicle Driving License

. Good physical condition and meets

Fitness Class 1

requirements. Age

21 years or above

. Excellent command of spoken and written

English
