Job Purpose

To restore normal IT service operations within agreed service levels and business priorities and minimize the adverse impact on business operations for dnata and external clients. Accountabilities Focus on Results Focus on People.

\xe2\x96\xaa Plans and ensures implementations of all the IT help desk support related activities.
\xe2\x96\xaa Health and safety responsibilities
\xe2\x96\xaa Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
\xe2\x96\xaa Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
\xe2\x96\xaa Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
\xe2\x96\xaa Maintain records/logs of repair and fixes.
\xe2\x96\xaa Daily maintenance of CheckIn/Gate Hardware,
\xe2\x96\xaa Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
\xe2\x96\xaa Providing L1 support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
\xe2\x96\xaa Inspection of all Signage display to ensure no downtime.
\xe2\x96\xaa Creating, updating, and maintaining seat map in Maestro.
\xe2\x96\xaa Proper Handover of work after shift.
\xe2\x96\xaa Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
\xe2\x96\xaa Managing technical documentation.
\xe2\x96\xaa Troubleshooting Network related issues.
\xe2\x96\xaa Responsible for the health and safety duty of care at the workplace.
\xe2\x96\xaa Ensure to report any hazards, injuries, ill-health or near miss to your supervisor or employer.
\xe2\x96\xaa Cooperate with your employer when they require something to be done for health and safety at the workplace

\xe2\x96\xaa VMV: Drives the dnata Vision, Mission and Values in the business and models the behaviours and intent of the VMV\xe2\x80\x99s in all people leadership practices.
\xe2\x96\xaa Managing Performance: Sets clear and measurable objectives for direct reports at a function or department level on an annual basis in line dnata framework and process. Drives performance accountability and enables the team to achieve through appropriate support and resourcing.
\xe2\x96\xaa Reward & Recognition: Partners with HR to set effective reward and recognition initiatives, that drive a high-performance culture (in line with dCGM limits)
\xe2\x96\xaa Talent Management: Partners with HR to ensure effective Talent Management and Succession Planning are in place to mitigate the risks of skills gaps.
\xe2\x96\xaa Safety: Leads with safety as a priority, ensuring all decisions are made with safety in mind. Role models safety behaviours and holds direct reports accountable for fulfilling their roles in line with dnata\xe2\x80\x99s safety rules and best practice
\xe2\x96\xaa Behaviour: acts as a role model for the leadership team and wider organisation in all people and customer interactions.

Know How, Skills, Experience & Competencies

\xe2\x96\xaa Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or Diploma holder in a related field
\xe2\x96\xaa 1-2 years of experience in IT Technical related role.
\xe2\x96\xaa 1 year of Aviation Industry work experience will be an advantage.

Role specific qualifications or licenses:

English language test level 4 required with a passing grade of 60%
\xe2\x96\xaa Excellent Written and Verbal skills.
\xe2\x96\xaa Good problem-solving skills.
\xe2\x96\xaa Attention to detail.
\xe2\x96\xaa Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage.
\xe2\x96\xaa Basic Office 365 Application skills.
