Job Description

Technical Responsibilities

Perform Odoo customizations using:

Python

Odoo ORM

XML (views, reports)

JavaScript (basic)

Develop and maintain custom modules, reports, and integrations.

Manage Odoo upgrades, migrations, and patches.

Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.

Handle data imports, exports, and migrations.

Manage integrations with third-party systems (Payroll, Payment Gateways, Banking, etc.).

Ensure proper security access controls, user roles, and permissions.

Support & Governance

Serve as the single point of contact for ERP-related issues.

Liaise with external Odoo partners or vendors when required.

Maintain ERP documentation, SOPs, and technical specifications.

Monitor system health, backups, and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

4-8 years of experience in Odoo ERP implementation and support

Strong techno-functional expertise in Odoo (v14-v18 preferred)

Proficiency in:

Python

PostgreSQL

Odoo framework & architecture

Experience in UAE VAT configuration and accounting workflows

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Functional & Soft Skills

Strong understanding of business processes and ERP best practices

Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders

Strong analytical, documentation, and training skills

Proactive and ownership-driven mindset
