Job Responsibilities:
\xe2\x80\x93 Establish system by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of PC and server hardware, software, LAN and WAN networks, and operating and system management systems; assisting in defining system and operational policies and procedures.
\xe2\x80\x93 Troubleshoot technological issues and solve problems quickly to ensure our business operations run smoothly.
\xe2\x80\x93 Install all new technology for the company, including computer operating systems, software programs and applications, new desktops, and other computer hardware.
\xe2\x80\x93 Administer new user accounts, work email addresses, and access levels to new employees to ensure they have everything they need to work efficiently.
\xe2\x80\x93 Ensure our computers are backed up so all files are saved in case the system crashes.
\xe2\x80\x93 Run security checks on all of our systems.
\xe2\x80\x93 Maintain system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning;
troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems;
designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor.
\xe2\x80\x93 Secure system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing as per disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
\xe2\x80\x93 Upgrade system by conferring with vendors and services; evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
\xe2\x80\x93 Meet financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses.
\xe2\x80\x93 Protect organization\xe2\x80\x99s value by keeping information confidential.
