Background: Currently, we have an IT manager who looks after the following. \xc2\xb7 Maintenance of physical servers in Dubai, Australia, Uk and Hong Kong along with on-premise virtual and Azure virtual servers. \xc2\xb7 Validating and approving all desktop and web applications. \xc2\xb7 Maintenance of PCs and Laptops along with all the licenses. \xc2\xb7 Educating staff and maintenance of security. \xc2\xb7 Monitoring Security, CCTV and Maintenance of Network Switches, Access Points & Perimeter Firewalls. \xc2\xb7 Managing 400+ Memory modules. \xc2\xb7 Addressing queries from clients about Data handling, Data security, and IT security in general at EP&T. This Role This role would be perfect for a person who is looking to be an IT specialist who can manage all IT-related infrastructure and documentation along with the financial part of it. This role will be based in Dubai but will have to partly work with Australian and UK time zones. Primary Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information to the Board of Directors. \xc2\xb7 Ability to synthesize and present data in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. \xc2\xb7 Look after cyber security. \xc2\xb7 Has knowledge in IT infrastructure i.e., Servers (on-Prem), Azure cloud services, Licenses, and desktop application administration. \xc2\xb7 Understanding of IT-related business processes, financial statements, and key performance indicators to provide relevant insights in reports. \xc2\xb7 Work with the CFO and IT Manager and Contribute to the preparation of IT budgets and resource allocation plans. \xc2\xb7 Monitor expenses and make sure the project finishes on time and budget. \xc2\xb7 Understand the basics of cybersecurity and answer questions that our client may have. \xc2\xb7 Understanding of IT-related business processes, financial statements, and key performance indicators to provide relevant insights in reports. Qualifications To be successful in this role, the candidate will need the following: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree equivalent to computer science or Information technology. \xc2\xb7 Familiar with corporate governance practices and reporting requirements. \xc2\xb7 7+ years of experience in related fields.
