Role Summary:

As a IT Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting our entire IT infrastructure. This includes user support, systems administration, network management, security, and IT asset management. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical experience and the ability to work independently while collaborating with various teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide end-user support and ensure the smooth operation of daily IT activities. Administer and manage Active Directory servers, user accounts, and access controls. Configure and manage the company's telephonic PBX system. Oversee Microsoft 365 Admin Centre and Intune (Endpoint Manager) for device and user management. Ensure effective configuration and management of FortiGate firewalls for network security. Manage and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 network switches, wireless access points, and overall network performance. Handle IT procurement, vendor management, and asset tracking. Manage domain purchases, renewals, and DNS configurations. Maintain and manage Cloud VPS servers, file servers, and storage solutions. Administer backup and data recovery solutions to safeguard business continuity. Implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection and security compliance. Keep detailed and up-to-date technical documentation and IT inventory. Collaborate with other departments to plan and implement IT projects and upgrades. Ensure IT policies, procedures, and best practices are adhered to at all times.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related f ield. Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in a similar IT support and infrastructure role. Strong experience and knowledge in: o Office 365 Administration and Intune (Endpoint Manager) o FortiGate firewall configuration and management o Layer 2 and Layer 3 network switches o Active Directory server setup and maintenance o File servers and storage solutions o Microsoft Defender configuration and monitoring Hands-on experience with PBX systems, cloud VPS, virtualization technologies, and backup & recovery tools. Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices. o Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet) are highly desirable. o Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
