Your day to day

oManage information technology systems, hardware and software applications to voco Doha West Bay Suites IT standards.
oOversee the ongoing development and testing of our disaster recovery plan (DRP) and business continuity plan (BCP) to minimize risks associated with downtime.
oUndertake routine risk management and audit processes to monitor system user compliance in accordance with voco Doha West Bay Suites IT standards.
oUpdate and implement an IT troubleshooting guide and train key staff in IT systems and application use.
oEnsure all operating systems, licenses and service agreements are kept up to date and that external vendors comply with agreed response times, SLA's and budgetary guidelines.
oMonitor file server performance, back-ups and system performance in line with agreed standards.
oManage and maintain operating system and firewall security and implement updates as required.
oUpdate IT policies and procedures in accordance with voco Doha West Bay Suites IT standards and with regard to systems and process enhancements.
oMaintain user database and ensure user profiles are updated in a timely manner.
oDevelop and manage IT business process strategy to ensure future state requirements are planned for and implemented within agreed timeframes.
oAttend to system maintenance and breakdown requirements in a timely manner.
oWork closely with external service providers and vendors to develop effective relationships and promote "best practice" in all dealings.
oIdentify opportunities to reduce IT related costs through managing processes in house.
oPrepare and submit IT management reports as required.
oAttend to guest related IT enquiries and provide assistance as required.
oMaintain and update the computer hardware asset register.
oEnsure all voco Doha West Bay Suites IT policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
oMaintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive data at all times.
oUphold high standards of professional conduct and communications with internal and external customers at all times

GENERAL

oCommunicate effectively with all other departments
oBe able to identify problems and implement solutions
oAttend meetings, training sessions and any other required meeting or training session.
oIdentify opportunities to innovate service delivery and product offering to meet and exceed client expectations.
oEnsure safe work practices are adopted at all time and report any OHS concerns immediately to your direct manager or HR Manager.
oMaintain IT systems, hardware and software to reduce failure rates to zero.
oAchieve overall 'good' rating in voco Doha West Bay Suites internal IT audit with no 'high risk' issues.
oConduct routine supplier reviews and manage vendors and suppliers with no budget overruns.
oMaintain and update an accurate inventory of all hardware, software and manuals purchased by the Hotel.
oEnsure that proper on-site and off-site backups are maintained at all times.
oEnsure the timely implementation of all system updates, planned preventative maintenance and enhancements in accordance with property level requirements and as directed by voco Doha West Bay Suites corporate IT office.
oAssigned projects are completed within designated timeframes
oManage DRP and BCP testing, training and reporting in accordance with voco Doha West Bay Suites standards.
oMIS reports, presentations and other related tasks are consistently of a high standard and free of errors and omissions.
