We are currently looking to recruit a full time IT Specialist with AI Background and Experience.
AFAQ for Leadership Development is an HR Consultancy which supports their clients in achieving their learning and development goals. We are a small organisation based in Abu Dhabi, but our scope currently extends across the UAE. We design, create and deliver leadership and technical programmes and qualifications as well as providing creative solutions and support for a diverse range of development projects and initiatives.
This role is new for us and provides the right candidate the opportunity to influence and support the next stage in our organisation's growth and development in the UAE and potentially further afield. We leverage cutting-edge technology and AI solutions to optimize our clients' learning and development processes, and strive to create intelligent, automated systems that enhance operational efficiency. We are now planning our future needs to integrate advanced AI capabilities across our technology infrastructure.
We are looking for someone who has experience in IT systems management with a strong background in artificial intelligence applications. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, thrives in a creative environment and is keen to be on the front line of the growth and development of our organisation's technological capabilities.
Key responsibilities and duties:

• Design and implement AI-powered automation solutions to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency across the organization
• Manage and optimize Learning Management Systems (LMS), integrating AI features such as personalized learning paths, automated assessments, and intelligent content recommendations
• Develop and maintain data systems that leverage AI and machine learning algorithms to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes
• Lead the implementation of AI-driven projects and initiatives, including communication with multiple stakeholders, managing timelines and ensuring resources are used effectively and efficiently
• Research and remain current with emerging AI technologies, machine learning frameworks, and automation tools, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our technological infrastructure across all programmes and projects
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for AI-integrated systems, automation tools, and data platforms for all relevant stakeholders

This role is currently for a 6 month contract but with the possibility of becoming full time. It is based in our Abu Dhabi office, but at times will require working in a range of environments across the UAE. Our working hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 12:00pm on Fridays.
Requirements:

• Minimum requirements of a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence with professional certification specialising in AI implementation and automation systems
• At least two years working as an IT Specialist with demonstrated experience in AI applications, preferably in a corporate or educational setting
• Strong experience with automation tools, Learning Management Systems integration, AI/ML frameworks, and data systems management
• Project management skills and working with a broad range of stakeholders across diverse contexts
• Excellent ability to problem solve and make informed decisions regarding AI implementation and system optimization
• Excellent communication skills with a broad range of stakeholders
• Highly creative and innovative in applying AI solutions to business challenges
• Adaptable and resilient
