Job Overview:
A private entity in Dubai is seeking an Emirati IT Security Specialist with strong experience in banking and financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in IT security management and demonstrated leadership or team leadership capability to support and strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage IT security initiatives aligned with business and regulatory requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
Conduct risk assessments, security reviews, and compliance checks
Monitor and respond to security incidents, investigations, and remediation plans
Coordinate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure secure systems and operations
Support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement of security controls
Guide or mentor team members and drive security awareness across the organization
Requirements:
Nationality: Emirati (UAE National) - mandatory
Experience: Minimum 5 years in banking/financial institutions + proven IT security leadership/team leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
Strong knowledge of IT security management practices and governance
Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills
Languages: Arabic & English (mandatory)
