Bridgestone Middle East & Africa (BSMEA) operates from locations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya and Ivory Coast. From these locations BSMEA covers 68 markets.

Main responsibilities & key activities:

This role will be in the Retail Department reporting directly to the Retail Operations Area Team Leader.

Infrastructure Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the organization\'s IT infrastructure.

Manage and maintain servers, storage, and networking equipment.

Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems.

System Administration:

Administer and support various operating systems (e.g., Windows).

Install, configure, and maintain software applications and updates.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

Network Management:

Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Implement and maintain network security measures.

Monitor network performance and optimize for efficiency.

IT Security:

Implement and maintain security protocols and measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.

Regularly test and update disaster recovery procedures.

User Support:

Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues.

Assist in the onboarding and training of new employees on IT systems.

Documentation:

Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.

Keep inventory records of hardware and software assets.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with other IT professionals, including developers and system architects, to ensure seamless integration of systems.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT operations, system administration, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security.
• Proficiency in system and network administration tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
