Education Pathways is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Instructor. The position involves developing and delivering both theoretical and practical IT modules, creating structured lesson plans, course materials, and industry-aligned assignments. The instructor will provide continuous academic guidance, mentorship, and project support to learners, ensuring they meet program objectives and progress successfully through their studies.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Information Technology modules within the Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma and related programs.
Develop and deliver lesson plans, course materials, and practical assignments aligned with program objectives.
Provide academic support, mentorship, and guidance to students on coursework and projects.
Assess and evaluate student performance in line with institutional standards.
Contribute to fostering an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Stay updated with current IT industry trends and integrate them into teaching.
Qualification and Skills
Undergraduate degree from a Western university (required). A postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Strong academic knowledge in IT, with expertise in areas such as software development,
databases, networking, cybersecurity, or emerging technologies.
Prior teaching, training, or industry experience in IT (higher education experience preferred).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to teach and engage students in a multicultural academic environment.
Availability to teach on a part-time basis (evenings or weekends may be required).
