VAM Systems is currently looking for IT Infrastructure Lead for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions: Qualifications: i. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is required ii. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations, architecture, governance and infrastructure management with strong IT process background iii. Knowledge and experience with Amazon Cloud based applications is a must iv. Maintain state-of-the-market knowledge regarding current and future infrastructure technologies v. Experience working with third-party software and service providers vi. Experience in contract management and oversight vii. Experience evaluating various hardware and software and service resources to identify strengths, weaknesses and potential benefits fit for business needs viii. Demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas or technologies in easy-to understand business terms to senior leaders ix. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

Primary role: Oversee the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of new and existing technology infrastructure in line with business needs Job description: i. Oversee installation and configuration of new and existing servers and network infrastructure ii. Supervise testing and analysis of all components of network and server infrastructure components iii. Establish and maintain an IT infrastructure architecture and technology roadmap to meet the current/projected needs of the project iv. Establish and maintain an appropriate service delivery model (e.g., procedures, processes, and documentation) that is effective, efficient, and meets business objectives v. Ensure recommended technology infrastructure is in line with best practices and meets IT, business and key external stakeholders' requirements vi. Support IT audits and compliance reviews, ensuring infrastructure and security processes are compliant with security, audit, and regulatory guidelines vii. Oversee team deliverables and report if any flags in timelines, budget, quality
