Job Title: IT Executive
Department: Information Technology
Experience: 2-3 years (preferably in the hotel/hospitality industry)
Reporting To: IT Manager / Director of IT
Job Summary:
The IT Executive will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the hotel's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems. This role ensures seamless IT operations to enhance guest experience and support staff efficiency while adhering to security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities: * IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware (computers, printers, POS systems, IP phones, etc.) and software (PMS, POS, accounting systems, etc.).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • System & Software Support:
  • Provide technical support to hotel staff for PMS (Property Management System), POS (Point of Sale), and other hotel-specific applications.
  • Assist in the implementation and upgrades of IT systems.
  • Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
  • Maintain IT policies in line with hotel standards and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Guest & Staff Support:
  • Resolve IT-related issues for guests (Wi-Fi access, smart room systems, etc.).
  • Train staff on IT systems and best practices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Vendor Coordination:
  • Liaise with IT vendors for maintenance, repairs, and procurement of IT equipment.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain IT inventory, logs, and reports for system performance and incidents.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2-3 years in IT support, preferably in a hotel/hospitality environment.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of PMS (Opera, Fidelio, Protel), POS systems, and networking.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS, Active Directory, and basic server management.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and data privacy regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
