- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and change due to customers.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain an accurate record of all transactions.
- Report any discrepancies or suspicious activities to the store manager.
- Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Accurately handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, gift cards, and other forms of payment.
- Scan and bag items efficiently and in a customer-friendly manner.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Ensure proper functioning of checkout equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and loss prevention.
- Adhere to all safety and security guidelines to prevent theft and ensure customer safety.
-Highly skilled Excel Expert with 2 years of experience in developing and implementing automated processes for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
