Position Overview
AECOM is seeking an Irrigation Inspector in Dubai, UAE to support major infrastructure and landscape irrigation projects. This on-site role focuses on quality control, compliance monitoring, and technical inspection of irrigation systems to ensure construction activities meet contract specifications, safety standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor irrigation construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, and contract specifications
• Conduct site inspections of pipelines, valves, pumps, fittings, and irrigation components
• Verify equipment alignment, testing procedures, and commissioning activities
• Maintain daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, and material deliveries
• Review contractor performance to ensure safe and workmanlike execution of works
• Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures on site
• Prepare daily inspection reports including work progress and site observations
• Conduct pipe alignment and level checks as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
• Coordinate with contractor teams to resolve site issues promptly
• Assist in preparation of correspondence and technical documentation
• Monitor start-up, commissioning, and handover activities including milestone tracking
• Maintain records of material testing and executed works for audit purposes

Ideal Profile

• High School Certificate, Technical Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Civil or relevant Engineering discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience for degree holders, 9 years for diploma holders, or 14 years for high school graduates in irrigation inspection works
• Strong background in irrigation systems, pipelines, and landscape infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of construction supervision and quality inspection procedures
• Familiarity with UAE standards and project safety requirements
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
