Position Overview
The Irrigation Engineer role at Parsons Corporation in Dubai supports large-scale infrastructure and landscaping projects through site supervision, contract administration, and quality control. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in daily project operations and deputize when required
• Ensure full understanding and implementation of contract documents and applicable duties
• Supervise irrigation network works, including automated irrigation and control systems
• Apply strong knowledge of different landscaping types and their specific irrigation requirements
• Supervise contractor activities to achieve required operation, maintenance, and construction standards
• Participate in contract administration activities and site coordination
• Review contractor submissions, drawings, and technical documentation
• Issue site instructions and provide on-site direction as required
• Supervise site inspection staff and coordinate inspection activities
• Measure completed works and verify quantities
• Monitor site safety practices and ensure compliance with HSE requirements
• Control quality of materials and workmanship throughout construction
• Track project progress against approved programs and schedules
• Prepare progress reports and site documentation
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of as-built drawings

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum twelve years of post-graduate experience in site supervision and construction management
• Strong background in major infrastructure and community development projects within the UAE, preferably Dubai
• Demonstrable experience in civil supervision of roads and general infrastructure works
• Sound knowledge of contractual relationships and contract administration
• Fully computer literate with ability to use project and engineering software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong coordination, supervision, and reporting capabilities
