Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Irrigation Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to perform assigned tasks to review, supervise irrigation construction works.
What You\'ll Be Doing:
Direct, supervise, and coordinate construction activities/works to achieve construction in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the construction team and lead the construction supervision team.
Manage construction supervision, quality control, financial control, hand over and other site operations.
Act as the point of contact for Contractors.
Monitor progress against accepted construction schedule and review the Contractor\xe2\x80\x99s progress reports. Assess the progress and inform the PM and the client in case of delay.
Review shop drawings against the IFC drawings and make necessary proposals as per site requirements.
Propose solutions to the specified construction/design issues.
Provide claims analysis support, including dispute resolution.
Participate in contract close-out activities.
Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status.
Typical products may include detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, technical reports, and detailed analyses.
Provides support for other engineering activities as required.
May supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.
May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate size project.
Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers working on the same project.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:
Bachelor of Civil / Agriculture Engineering from an accredited University.
Minimum 10 years experience in construction supervision of irrigation networks, wet utilities and infrastructure projects
Have full and complete knowledge of existing infrastructure Networks in the Emirates of Dubai.
Knowledge and work experience in Automatic Irrigation system, Irrigation Network, Pipelines, Connection Chambers and Pumping Station works, non-disruptive road crossings is required.
Experience in dealing with emergency works and ability to deal with the Public and coordinate with various infrastructure Authorities related to the Projects
Exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written English is required.
Experience advising client of best systems, materials, products and sustainability for irrigation/water feature systems.
What Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
