Irrigation Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Irrigation Designer to join our landscape and infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing irrigation systems for various types of projects such as residential, commercial, agricultural, or landscape developments. The role involves calculating pump capacity, analyzing head loss, determining pipe sizes, valve zoning, and preparing complete irrigation layouts with hydraulic efficiency and sustainability in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
Design irrigation systems (drip/sprinkler) based on project needs, topography, and crop or landscape type.
Calculate pump capacity based on system demand and water source availability.
Perform head loss calculations using appropriate formulas
Select and size pipes and fittings ensuring minimal energy loss and efficient water distribution.
Plan and schedule valves and zones, ensuring proper pressure regulation and automation compatibility.
Prepare irrigation CAD layouts, hydraulic schematics, and legends for construction documents.
Select appropriate filters, fertigation units, control valves, controllers, and sensors.
Coordinate with landscape architects, civil engineers, and project managers.
Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and water usage estimates.
Conduct on-site inspections during installation and commissioning stages.

Pay: AED4,000.00 per month
