Network Infrastructure IP/Optical EMEA Business Centre, Customer Engineering (CE) - Regional Engineering Delivery (RED) in Sale, Nokia is looking for a skilled customer-oriented IP Network Engineer, who has Nokia products/systems and network background to deliver professional services to Nokia's customers in IP Routing. The candidate in this role will be required to work as a design & planning specialist with Nokia internal teams and directly with EMEA Customers, to deliver projects on time, within the cost plan, and with the right customer satisfaction.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

+ Execute IP projects in EMEA, by cooperating with other stakeholders according to the delivery model

+ Support the pre-sales team for Product & Solution demos and Proof of Concept delivery in tender process

+ Manage new product introduction activities in Customer networks

+ Plan, prepare, and execute a Demo, Proof of Concept, and commercial projects with all requested tests up to the Customer acceptance

+ Support EMEA Customers for operating their IP networks

+ Prepare Method of Procedures documents for Customers and for internal use

+ Be responsible for the investigation and solution of issues with hardware and software on Customer networks

+ Support design experts in developing design and network architecture in the projects.

+ Mobility and travel abroad to be considered from 30% to 40%,

+ Maintain technical relations with Customers, building trust, intimacy, and an efficient environment for project execution.

Your skills and experience

You have:

+ Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Telecom, or Software Engineering

+ Good knowledge of IP Networking, Routing, and Services Topology: IPv4 and IPv6, BGP, LDP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, VPRN, IP VPN

+ IP/MPLS Certificate: minimum Nokia NRSII or equivalent.

+ Ability to solve issues w/o external support can work with many stakeholders to achieve goals

+ Customer-oriented mindset

+ Fluent English is a must for this position

It would be nice if you also had:

+ Nokia IP product portfolio (e.g., 7750 SR, 7250 IXR, NSP) knowledge and experience

+ Experience with Network Automation and scripting (Python)

+ Ability to work under pressure and manage complex activities

+ Interpersonal skills in dealing with colleagues and customers
