Job Description

Qua Systems, a hi-tech cable and harnessing manufacturing company based in Abu Dhabi, requires a senior aviation cable technician to work with electrical and avionics components and wire harness.

You will have experieince in:

Assembling and fabricating and integrating wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies Troubleshooting, repairing, and modify electrical components and assemblies Performing electrical continuity checks, operational tests, and acceptance test procedures Recording work progress, certifications, completion, and testing Read, interpret, and work from drawings, including wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and mechanical drawings Use various mechanical and precision calibrated tools Accurately document all required forms and documents, including electronic records
Aviation cable technicians should have the following skills and abilities:

Manual dexterity Keen attention to detail Knowledge of aviation technology and machinery Ability to comprehend complex documents, blueprints, sketches, and manuals Excellent analytical, attention-to-detail, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Steady hands and excellent eyesight
Requirements:

IPC qualification - IPC 620

3 years' experience

Matric plus tertiary qualification
