Job Description
IoT Software engineer @ AHOY will be responsible to develop software that monitors and executes processes and design platform solutions that are cloud-compatible and work well with IoT applications.
The Engineer will also be required to develop software that allows IoT products to function and connect to other devices. Requirements Roles & Responsibilities

- Developing software that monitors and executes processes for IoT Solutions
- Designing and building the network architecture, servers, databases, and security for the new system on the Azure cloud platform.
- Researching, creating, testing, and documenting IoT solutions
- Integrating, designing, coding, and testing features of various IoT devices
- Designing platform solutions that are cloud-compatible and work with IoT applications
- Designing and implementing the application multi-tier architecture, asynchronous system using MVC, REST APIs & Service Injection.
- Building the new device parsing and message processing engine that can handle up to 100 million event transactions per day on an average hardware and Integration of various IoT devices to the processing engine.
- Developing CI/CD pipelines
Technical Skills
- Well-versed with multiple programming languages such as Embedded-C, Python, JavaScript, C++, MySQL, .NET, PHP and HTML
- Knowledge of software like Netbeast, Neura, OpenSensors and NodeJs (no need for nodejs)
- Experience with Database tools such as QL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Familiarity to deal with WebSocket and Real-Time Data, Big Data and ML
- Firm understanding of IoT architecture and principles
- Knowledge of Docker
- Knowledge of IoT Protocols such as MQTT, MQTP, TCIP/UDP and REST APIs
