About The Role We are looking for a Financial Analyst to provide support and advice to the Company Management on all financial matters, as well as to ensure control and compliance of procedures and authority schedules, in addition to maintaining accounts and company assets to accurately reflect the company\'s financial health. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 You will support, service, and advise the company\'s management on all financial matters, including budget preparation and presentation, management accounting, MIS, and all other financial and non-financial reports and statements. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate budgeting and forecasts with all central and business departments. Consolidate annual accounts and ensure that they are audited on time. \xc2\xb7 Execute budgetary, financial, and physical controls in accordance with asset management rules. Control other purchases and services as well. \xc2\xb7 Ensure tax compliance; return filing for timely basis wherever applicable. \xc2\xb7 Ensure credit limit control and procedures are followed. Review debt collection and ageing. Recommend credit limits to management. Provide MIS/exceptional reporting. Monitor internal/external payments on time. Implement internal controls to ensure payments are made in accordance with approved terms for products and services. Exercise controls on other products and services. \xc2\xb7 Ensure that all accounting entries are incorporated in the company accounts after they have been approved as per the schedule of authority. Ensure that accounts are kept up to date to reflect all the transaction of the business, including all reconciliation with the bankers, debtors, creditors, and groups companies. \xc2\xb7 Keep track of bank balances against facilities to make sure the company is operating within approved facilities. Develop cash flows and inform relevant authorities if there is a likely shortfall. Make sure controls are in place in cash collection, cash held and in banking. \xc2\xb7 Ensure timely submission of monthly management reports by reviewing monthly closing activities in accordance with corporate policies and IFRS. Requirements Experience: 3 to 5 years post qualification experience. Other requirements: \xc2\xb7 Experience with international risk management practices is essential. \xc2\xb7 Investment and Wealth Advisor with ICSEA Certification \xc2\xb7 Consultancy/ Compliance Risk experience in the UAE market would be an advantage. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge/ experience in international accounting practice in a computerized environment. \xc2\xb7 PC Literate with good Excel knowledge and exposure to ERP solutions. \xc2\xb7 Should be familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards. \xc2\xb7 Should have the ability to analyse financial issues. \xc2\xb7 Should have good analytical, numerical and research skills. \xc2\xb7 Should have good organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines. \xc2\xb7 Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills. \xc2\xb7 English language is essential.
