A leading group operating in the consumer goods, agri, and food manufacturing sector in Iraq, looking to expand and develop new investment opportunities.
Role Overview
Not every opportunity comes with a blueprint. Some need building from the ground up. This role is for someone who knows how to turn a good idea into a working investment, one that fits the realities of the consumer goods, agri, and food manufacturing market in Iraq. You'll work closely with group leadership to identify potential projects, assess their viability, and take them from concept to execution. This isn't about watching from the sidelines - you'll gather data, talk to suppliers, source costs, and map out how things really get made, priced, moved, and sold. Role can be based in Dubai or Erbil.
Key Responsibilities

• Spotting investment opportunities across new FMCG categories
• Building feasibility assessments based on real supply chain and cost dynamics
• Developing projects that pass the boardroom filter and survive the factory floor
• Sourcing suppliers, mapping value chains, and finding operational leaders to run them
• Managing investments inside Iraq and supporting growth outside

Your Profile

• 12+ years of experience in investment with deep understanding of the FMCG industry in the Middle East (Iraq highly preferred)
• Clear understanding of how brands are built, and products are launched in Iraq
• Experience in project development, new category entry, or joint ventures
• Strong market knowledge and ability to balance ambition with execution
• Fluent in Arabic and English
