Investment Banking Legal Advisor - Abu Dhabi

Our client is in the market for a Legal Associate to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for upholding and protecting the legal rights and responsibilities of the business and provide legal guidance to all departments. To provide support in developing and reviewing policies and procedures, agreements and all legal documents that the company is engaged in whilst ensuring that its rights and responsibilities are protected and expressed. Offer expert support to all departments in the company to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of SCA, ADX, DFM and other regulators. Constantly update and maintain files, contracts, and legal documentations for future reference. Handle all external engagements with stakeholders on behalf of the company and keep abreast with policy and procedural changes and latest UAE laws, fees, services, and legal regulations that impact the business of the company.

Competencies/ Skills:

In-depth knowledge of corporate law, disclosure requirements, compliance mandates and governance best practices.

Experienced in negotiation and dispute management

Good knowledge of banking/brokerage practices.

Good analytical, judgmental and interpretative skills.

Understanding of the regulatory environment - SCA, ADX and DFM rules and regulations.

Excellent communications and presentation skills, fluent in Arabic and English

Qualifications:

Mandatory to hold a minimum of Bachelor\'s Degree in Law

Desirable: Master\'s degree or a professional qualification

Minimum two (2) years of experience in investment banking/ corporate finance advisory.
