Job Description

The

Investment Analyst (Corporate Finance / Private Equity)

will be responsible for supporting investment decisions through comprehensive financial, operational, and market analysis of private equity, M&A, and corporate finance transactions. The role involves performing due diligence, financial modeling, investment research, and deal evaluation, as well as contributing to portfolio monitoring, strategic recommendations, and client reporting. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, detail-oriented, and commercially aware, with experience in private equity research, corporate finance, or investment strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Investment & Deal Analysis



Conduct in-depth financial, operational, and market analysis of potential investments and target companies. Perform due diligence on investment opportunities, including evaluation of risks, synergies, and value creation potential. Prepare Investment Memorandums, pitchbooks, and investment reports, summarizing key deal information, company and industry overviews, and potential returns. Develop and maintain financial models, including DCF, three-statement, precedent transaction, and project finance models. Track and analyze portfolio performance, making recommendations for adjustments to optimize returns. Assist in the preparation of strategic investment plans and capital deployment strategies.

Market & Industry Research



Conduct primary and secondary research on industries, sectors, and companies to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Monitor macro-economic factors, market developments, and competitive landscapes to inform investment decisions. Support exit strategy planning and evaluate potential ROI for private equity investments.

Reporting & Stakeholder Collaboration



Prepare summaries, dashboards, and reports for internal and client-facing purposes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and finance to ensure accurate, actionable reporting. Assist in investment deal tracking, portfolio management, and documentation for audits or regulatory purposes.

Continuous Improvement & Governance



Maintain and update deal databases, reporting templates, and investment tracking systems. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements in investment workflows. Ensure adherence to internal governance standards and regulatory requirements for corporate finance and private equity investments.

QUALIFICATIONS



Education



Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom), Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field LLB (or BBA LLB/BCom LLB) or CFA is an advantage

Experience



3-5 years of professional experience in private equity research, corporate finance, investment analysis, or M&A due diligence Proven track record in deal evaluation, financial modeling, and portfolio monitoring Experience managing investment pipelines, funds, or corporate transactions

Technical Skills



Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analytics Strong knowledge of private equity, corporate finance, M&A, and investment strategies Familiarity with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research platforms Ability to conduct risk analysis and scenario testing

Communication Skills



Excellent written and verbal communication in English Able to present complex financial and investment concepts clearly to senior management and stakeholders

Pay: QAR7,000.00 - QAR13,000.00 per month

License/Certification:
