Key Accountabilities

Create and review financial models and ensure consistency with financing agreements and relevant project documents. Analyse historical and projected financial statements. Conduct competitor, market, sector and economic analysis and other research as directed. Review company information and prepare reports. Provide analysis for due diligence processes. Work closely with AE environment and social, insurance, technical, legal, finance staff and external advisors to evaluate and process investment projects. Participate in investment negotiations, and in the monitoring of investment portfolios including quarterly reporting, compliance and tracking of development outcomes. Remain abreast of relevant economic and political events impacting on and influencing the renewable energy sector. Develop high quality PowerPoint slides for fund-raising, investor, shareholder, and corporate presentations.

Qualifications, Experience and Job Specific Skills

Bachelor's or equivalent degree from top-tier university, with specialisation in finance preferred. Experience within Private Equity and/or Investment Management sector (3-5 years) with a proven track record in creating financial models. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work successfully in multicultural teams. Demonstrated teamwork skills. Understanding of commercial and funding structures. Ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure. Interest in development issues and working in emerging markets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in a second language such as Arabic, Turkish or French is desirable. Experience within Renewable Energy, Utilities and/or Infrastructure sectors is preferred.
