We are engaged by our client, a leading contract logistics solutions provider, who seeks an experienced Inventory Manager to lead the organization\xe2\x80\x99s inventory operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize inventory levels and accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and trends to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data and reports to identify trends, forecast demand, and make recommendations for inventory optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize inventory management software and systems to track inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and generate reports.
- Train and supervise inventory control staff to ensure adherence to inventory management policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 5 years experience in inventory management or related roles.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyze inventory data and reports.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- University degree Certification in inventory management like CPIM & CSCP is a plus.
- Previous experience with Manhattan or similar WMS technology an advantage.
