Job Summary: Looking for an Inventory Controller in Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Identify the human and material resources required and properly handle them to meet production targets
• Keep up adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand
• Review inventory output on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to identify trends
• Conduct investigations and correct discrepancies in reported quantities as well as locations of all inventory
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to forecast and plan for present and future consumption of raw materials
• Conduct counts and make sure all inventory is accounted for and reported based on the company policy
• Receive orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Assess production practices as well as equipment and make proposals for improvements to make sure they are effective
• Apply standard operating procedures for production operations and ensure they are followed
• Follow up on delivery schedule as well as customer orders
• Make sure the team is regularly provided with stock items as and when required
• Direct regular inventory audits
• Handle all stock and ensure business costs incurred from stock purchases as well as utilization are reduced
• Generate inventory reports as necessary

Job Qualifications and Experience

• The applicant must have a Degree in Economics, Finance or any related field
• 2+ years of experience as an inventory controller
• Should be able to multitask
• Good computer application knowledge required
• Should be able to work well with ERP software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good skills in problem solving
• Excellent analytical and record management skills
• Good time management and report writing skills
• Should have good experience in handling production as well as inventory work accurately
• Strong mathematics skills required
