Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Inventory Controller to join our dynamic team at BloomingBox. As an Inventory Controller, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our inventory to ensure efficient operations. If you have a minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory control, specifically in managing flower/perishable inventory and possess strong analytical skills we invite you to apply. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies specific to flower inventory to ensure accurate inventory levels, efficient stock movement, and minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Monitor flower inventory levels and analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of flower inventory and prevent stock shortages.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts of flowers and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize space utilization and improve flower inventory handling processes.
• Generate inventory reports for flower inventory using Excel and provide analysis to management, highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities.
• Identify slow-moving and obsolete flower inventory and propose action plans for its liquidation or disposal.
• Implement inventory control measures to prevent theft, damage, or loss of flower inventory.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to flower inventory management and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to align flower inventory levels with customer demands and business objectives.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in flower inventory control.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in managing flower inventory or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data using Excel.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data analysis using Excel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive and able to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Knowledge of flower inventory management principles, best practices, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to flower inventory control.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Experience:

• Inventory: 4 years (Required)
• Flower Industry Inventory: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Required)
