Job Overview

Velvety is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to manage and oversee inventory operations for our couture and bespoke production. This role is critical in ensuring accurate stock control, efficient material planning, and seamless coordination with production and management teams.

The ideal candidate is proactive, methodical, and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to plan, track, and report inventory effectively in a fast-paced luxury fashion environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control inventory of fabrics, trims, accessories, and production materials. Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation using Microsoft Excel. Plan and allocate materials in coordination with production requirements and timelines. Track stock movement, consumption, and replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking. Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Prepare inventory reports and updates for management review. Coordinate with production, procurement, and management teams for smooth workflow. Ensure organized, secure, and well-maintained inventory storage areas.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as an Inventory Controller, Storekeeper, or similar role (fashion or garment industry preferred). Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (mandatory). Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills. High attention to detail with strong numerical and reporting accuracy. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.

Requirements

Available to start immediately. Willingness to work in Ajman, UAE. Background in fashion, garment production, or a related field is an advantage.
