Maintain accurate inventory records for scaffolding parts, GSE components, and fabrication materials using inventory management software.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
Monitor stock levels to ensure availability for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Analyze usage trends to forecast future inventory needs.
Stock Control:
Issue materials to site or project teams as per requisitions.
Ensure correct tagging, labeling, and storage of equipment and materials.
Manage return and inspection of scaffolding and GSE post-project for damage, maintenance, or reallocation.
Track high-value items and critical spares separately with enhanced controls.
Procurement Coordination:
Collaborate with procurement to reorder stock in a timely manner.
Raise material requests based on consumption reports and minimum stock levels.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
Data & Reporting:
Prepare regular inventory reports for management (stock aging, fast/slow movers, stock discrepancies, etc.).
Use ERP or inventory software to monitor and track real-time stock movements.
Flag variances and recommend corrective actions.
Operational Support:
Coordinate with fabrication and workshop teams to ensure availability of raw materials.
Provide material availability updates for scaffolding and GSE mobilizations.
Support site teams with logistics planning and kitting of project-specific materials.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure that storage areas follow safety and housekeeping standards.
Maintain documentation for audits and inventory control checks.
Ensure that all materials, especially heavy or hazardous items, are stored safely and correctly.
